Rose is an Akita that was surrendered after being rescued from being chained to a tree. We do not know anything more about her past. She is pretty friendly but it is apparent that she was never trained to mind commands, and she can be difficult to work with due to her size and strength. We recommend that Rose be adopted by someone who is used to large dogs and knows how to safely handle them when they are not trained. She has torn through kennel doors before when bored, so careful planning on her housing is encouraged before she is adopted.
