Poor Sparrow was completely emaciated when he arrived at our rescue. He weighed less than thirty pounds, when a dog of his breed and size should easily weigh over sixty pounds. He had wounds in his skin where his bones were rubbing through due to his extreme lack of fat. He was found wandering aimlessly in the road and surrendered by a horrified member of the public. The beginning of his story is unknown - but it is turning around to have a much happier ending! He does have one minor bite on his record, but he is a sweet boy and will make an excellent companion!
