Sammy is a precious 5-month-old German Shepherd / Husky mix with the sweetest soul and the cutest puppy personality. This handsome boy is still learning about the world, but every day he grows more confident and curious. Sammy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys spending time exploring the backyard with his foster pack. He is also curious about cats and has shown gentle interest when meeting them. Sammy can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with just a little patience he quickly warms up and shows his affectionate, playful side. He does well with children once he has a little time to get comfortable. Like most puppies, Sammy has his favorites — squeaky toys and treats! He is very treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for him. He is currently learning to walk on a leash and is doing great as he continues to build confidence. Sammy is already showing wonderful manners. He is fully crate trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate at night with the door open, choosing to stay in his cozy space all on his own. He does not use potty pads overnight and has been doing very well with his routine. This sweet boy is blossoming more each day and will thrive in a home that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he is meant to be. Sammy is ready to find a patient, loving family to call his forever home.
