About Rhys
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Rhys is quite the sight with his handsome looks and unique charm, even if his coordination hasn't quite caught up with his enthusiasm yet. This long and lanky boy has clearly missed out on some important nutrition in his past, which gives him flat paws and a slender build, but his loving spirit shines through. Rhys greets each day with happiness, eager for attention and affection from those around him. He's currently in the learning phase, discovering all sorts of new things—including how to catch treats, which currently results in some hilarious, endearing moments as they bounce off his face. Dogs like Rhys remind everyone just how special they are. All dogs at Chicago Animal Care and Control are spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption. For the best experience, all household members, especially children and decision-makers, should be present for the meet-and-greet. If you have a resident dog, a careful introduction can be arranged to help Rhys meet a potential sibling in a safe setting, but a slow, thoughtful transition is recommended to set everyone up for success. Give this sweet boy a chance—he is ready to become the heart of a loving home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
