She came to the shelter when her family became overwhelmed with too many pets, and like many of our Special Care dogs, she’ll need a bit of extra love and patience to thrive. Currently, Dora takes behavior medication to help manage her stress and fear of new environments. The shelter can be overwhelming for a sensitive young girl, but she’s shown her gentle heart—crawling into laps for comfort and slowly learning to trust. Her most recent foster experience proved just how amazing she can be: playful, affectionate, and eager to enjoy life in a calm, loving home.
