Meet Lady Luck Lady Luck is a beautiful black and white Shih Tzu weighing just 10 pounds. While she has been estimated to be around six years old, her foster believes she may be a little older. Either way, this tiny lady has a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Lady Luck will do best with a special person in a calm, quiet home where she can relax and feel secure. She has some narrowing in her spine, which can occasionally cause her to lose her balance. The good news is that she stands less than a foot tall, so when she does get a little wobbly it doesn't seem to bother her at all. She also has some hearing loss and possibly limited sight, but she does very well with simple cues. Her foster can get her attention by clapping or whistling, and Lady quickly figures out where you are. Lady is a professional napper and enjoys sleeping for much of the day. At night she sleeps peacefully in her own cozy bed in the bedroom and stays settled all night long. If you listen closely, you might hear her adorable light snore while she dreams. During the day, Lady simply wants to be near her person. If you're sitting on the couch, she'll happily curl up beside you or snooze in her bed nearby-wherever you are is where she wants to be. Occasionally if she wakes up and can't find you, she may bark a little while searching for you. As soon as you come into the room and get her attention, she happily follows along. Lady Luck is potty trained and will politely walk to the back door and wait for you to let her outside. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, especially if you're out there with her. She would do fine in a home with another calm, gentle dog, but a peaceful environment will be important for her comfort. Despite her little quirks, Lady Luck is a sweetheart who is not in distress and still enjoys life's simple comforts-soft beds, quiet companionship, and being near someone who cares. She's simply looking for a kind heart and a forever home where she can feel safe and loved. Sometimes the best luck comes in the smallest packages-and Lady Luck just might be yours. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
