About Matthew
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Matthew is a handsome brown tabby gentleman with mesmerizing green eyes and a powerful purr that fills the room. He loves to be near his people, rubbing against your legs, offering sweet head boops, and serenading you with his happy purrs as you spend time together. Playful and curious, Matthew especially enjoys chasing feather toys and anything that flutters like a butterfly. Matthew prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and politely requests not to be picked up, especially as he settles into a new place. While he can feel a bit nervous with big changes, given some time and understanding he transforms into an affectionate, interactive companion ready to share his love. Matthew is comfortable around other cats and could do well as an only cat too. He’s cautious but manageable with dogs and is expected to thrive with respectful children who know cat boundaries. This sweet boy has had a full dental and is now toothless, but that doesn’t slow him down—he only eats dry food and manages just fine. He does have a mild seasonal allergy and a quirky throat when sedated, making him truly "purrfectly imperfect." As a July 21st birthday, he’s a Cancer: loyal and loving at heart! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
