Hi, I'm Matthew - a handsome brown tabby gentleman with stunning green eyes and a purr you can hear a mile away. I love being near my people: I'll rub on your legs, offer head boops, and happily purr while we hang out together. I'm playful too - my favorite game is chasing feather fishing-pole toys (and I am very impressed by anything that spins and flutters like a butterfly). Matthew's one request? No pick-ups, please. He's a loving companion who prefers to keep all four paws on the ground especially when getting to know you. He can be a little nervous with big changes and may need a little time to settle in, but once he's comfortable, he's a sweet, interactive buddy who enjoys attention. Matthew does well with other cats, but would also be ok as the only kitty, he is cautious but manageable around dogs, and can do well with kids who understand kitty boundaries. Matthew has had full dental (toothless) and is all ready to find the purrfect home! He does have a mild seasonal allergy and a funny throat when sedated! Purrfectly imperfect! He only eats dry!
