Jabba

He’s around 9 years and 10 months old and considered extra-large in size, with a short coat and fully house trained. He is up to date on vaccinations. As a Leo, Jabba brings a bold and affectionate energy to any home.
About Jabba
Meet Jabba—a cat with personality to spare and a truly big presence. Known to his friends as Bubba, Bubs, or even Handsome Boy, Jabba keeps his foster family entertained with his bold, comedic antics and strong preferences about how the household should be run. He’s bounced back from health troubles including obesity and megacolon that required months of diligent care. Now, with daily MiraLAX and Lactulose and a regimen of exercise and play (wand toys are a hit), he’s stable, playful, and ready for a loving home that will maintain his routines. Jabba is a short-haired, black domestic cat with striking green eyes that seem to melt hearts on sight. He’s a social eater—he’ll remind you it’s mealtime and wants you nearby. Despite his size, Jabba leaps to cat trees and window sills, proudly claiming his space. Throughout the day, he alternates naps with seeking gentle attention, often tapping a leg or sharing a look of devotion. Come evening, he settles in for TV time on his foster dad’s lap. Baths are tolerated if necessary, and he’s happy as long as he’s loved. He gets along well with friendly, non-dominant cats (he does especially well with kittens and young cats), and also accepts well-mannered dogs. Due to occasional grumpy moments, Jabba’s ideal home wouldn’t have young children, but adults and respectful older kids would suit him just fine. He’d also love to be your one-and-only pet, although it isn’t required. Jabba needs an indoor-only home, lots of space to roam, places to climb, and a family committed to his health supplements and steady weight loss journey. Extra-large in body means extra-large in heart—he’s waiting for the right family to share his devotion, humor, and loyalty. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
