Because all of our dogs live in foster homes, meet-and-greets are scheduled only after a completed application is received. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance of Mays Landing, NJ so our volunteers can conduct an in-person home visit. Hi. Chewy here. The handsome 8-year-old Yorkie with the great hair, the cutest ears and an even better personality. I’ve been told I should introduce myself if I want to find my forever home… so here goes nothing. I’m a sweet, slightly shy gentleman who believes in love, naps, and keeping things running smoothly. Some might call me “the fun police.” I prefer Director of Household Operations. If there’s zoomies happening at 9:47 PM when bedtime is clearly 9:45, I will be monitoring the situation.  Now let’s address the tiny boss in the room, my bonded partner, Lulu. Lulu is a 7-year-old, pint-sized queen. She is what the experts call a “one-person dog.” What that means is: once she chooses you, congratulations, you now have a shadow. A very cute, very determined shadow. She has zero interest in hobbies, side quests, or social clubs. Her only passion? You. All of you. All the time. Every second. Honestly, I respect that level of commitment. Me? I’m happy to let her take center stage. I don’t mind riding shotgun in this relationship. I’m secure. I know I’m adorable. While Lulu is busy supervising your every move, I’d love a fenced-in yard where I can explore, sniff, and conduct important perimeter checks. I’m a curious guy and running around safely is my jam. A yard is my dream come true. We’re both:

You won’t even mind. What we’re looking for is simple: a home where we can be the center of your world. Lulu will handle the devotion. I’ll handle morale and light rule enforcement. Together, we’re the perfect balance of sass and sweetness. We are fully vetted with dentals and Lulu got herself a spay so if you’ve been missing a tiny boss and her loyal sidekick, we’re ready to move in. Love,
