Clarence is a 5 1/2 year old Irish Greyhound born on 5/1/2020. He was in a home and has been returned due to medical issues in the home and no fault of his own. From his people in Ireland: Clarence is such an amazing fellow and has been a favorite of all the staff at Paws since his arrival. He was very unsure of his surroundings but has come on in leaps and bounds since. Clarence is a quiet boy and is very content once he has a doggy buddy to hang out with. At first Clarence did not know what a bed was, but now it is his favorite place to relax. He enjoys getting out on walks but can be a little nervous of new places or situations. He would definitely be happier with a social dog who can build his confidence. Clarence could sit for hours enjoying love, cuddles, and attention. He was fine with a small dog. Clarence has SLO which is an immune mediated disease which causes brittle nails and frequent loss of nails. He will need to be on medication for life for this condition.
