Meet Daphne 1 year, 2 months old; 40 lbs; Gentle; Loving; Loyal Daphne is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl with a calm and affectionate personality. She loves being close to her people, soaking up attention, and simply sharing quiet companionship. While she gets along well with other dogs, Daphne’s favorite place is right by your side — she truly bonds deeply with her humans. After being abandoned on the street with her friend Oliver when their owner moved away, Daphne was rescued by SOS El Arca Animal Rescue and finally given the safety and care she deserved. Oliver has since found his forever family in Connecticut, and now it’s Daphne’s turn to find a loving home of her own. Daphne is gentle with children, neutral around cats, and friendly with other dogs. Because she can be a little shy in new environments, she would thrive with a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in and build confidence. Another friendly, confident dog in the home could also help her feel secure. She is intelligent, eager to please, and already showing what a wonderful companion she will be. Daphne is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and her potty training is already underway.
