About Helen
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Introducing Helen! This graceful lady, along with her daughter Lady, arrived from St Thomas Humane Society and is estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old. Helen is a shy yet elegant companion who deeply cares for her daughter and enjoys playful moments with puppies. She is both house and crate trained, spayed, and fully up to date on her vaccinations. Helen would thrive in a quiet adult home that boasts a securely fenced yard. Ideally, she and Lady would stay together, given their close bond and affection. With a gentle heart, Helen just needs a little time to get comfortable around new people, but when she does, her sweet nature shines through. Questions about Helen
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Labrador Retriever/Greyhound mixes are often best suited for homes with secure yards where they have space to play, especially if the environment is calm and structured. They do well in both suburban and rural settings, but can also adapt to city life with sufficient exercise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This mix benefits from regular outdoor time in a fenced area to run and play. While they can adapt to smaller yards with daily walks and playtime, a larger yard is ideal for fulfilling their exercise needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Labrador Retrievers are known for their gentleness and patience with children, while Greyhounds can be reserved but calm. Most mixes are generally good with respectful children if properly introduced and supervised.
