Fiyah is a lovely outgoing and cuddly little girl (7 lbs) but continues to make it very clear that she wants to be the queen of the castle - in other words, she doesn't share well with other pets. She loves humans and is happy to lap sit as long as you let her. She's playful and inquisitive and is very content being indoor only. I love this girl a lot but after trying for over a year to settle this issue, she just refuses to accept my small, somewhat shy poodle mix dog, and the antagonism is very hard on my doggie's quality of life. Fiyah is always trying to run the dog off and even has gone so far as to attack him. If my boy wasn't in the picture, I would have a very nice kitty to share my life with. But my boy was here first by several years, has ongoing health issues and has had to overcome a lot of abuse in his past. He just doesn't deserve the negativity, and Fiyah seems to be trying to let me know in very certain terms that she needs a home where she doesn't have to share her owner's affection. Fiyah hasn't ever been around children, nor has she ever lived with another cat. It's possible that she wouldn't have the same problem with other cats, but I think the best home for her will be where she's the only pet. She is quite playful tho, so children might be fun for her. Outside of her dislike of my dog, she's a confident and easygoing girl.
