Hi, I’m Jan! I’m a 1-year-old female Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix weighing about 38 pounds, and I’m such a sweet, smart girl just waiting for my forever home. I’ve done wonderfully with all of the kennel staff and have been nothing but polite and loving while I wait. I’m very treat-motivated and was able to sit and stay for pictures with just a little encouragement, which tells everyone I’m going to be a quick learner. I would absolutely thrive in a home where I have a job to do — whether that’s continued training, learning new commands, agility, hiking, or just being your loyal sidekick. I’ve been great with the dogs I’ve been paired with and play nicely. I haven’t been around children yet, but I can be child-tested upon request. I can also be cat-tested if needed. I keep my kennel fairly clean, which shows I’m likely working hard on my house-training skills. I am fully vetted — spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm prevention, microchipped, and current on flea/tick prevention. I’m an all-around wonderful girl with brains and heart, and I’m ready to find a family who will help me reach my full potential.
