Groundhog is a handsome 4-month old male Australian Shepherd/Husky mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on February 11, 2026 along with his four siblings (Buck, Foxy, Kitty, and Raccoon) after they were found on Straight Run Road in the Lowell Ohio area fending for themselves. Groundhog has a medium-haired tricolor coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with blue eyes, a white stripe on his forehead, a white muzzle, and floppy ears which are fringed with fuzzy curls. Groundhog weighed 22 lbs when he entered our shelter on February 11th. Groundhog and his brothers/sisters are full of playful puppy energy and love to engage in silly puppy games before they crash for a group nap.. Groundhog and his siblings will be spayed/neutered before being officially adopted. They could be fostered-to-adopt while they are awaiting those procedures with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.
