Elsa German Shepherd Mix (best guess) 8 years old | 40 lbs | Spayed If you've ever wanted a dog who looks like a forever puppy but skips the actual puppy chaos, Elsa might be your girl. Elsa is an 8-year-old German Shepherd mix with one adorable floppy ear and a smaller-than-average shepherd build at about 40 pounds. She's a gentle, affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with her people and is happiest when she's close by. Her foster calls her a "stage five clinger" - in the best possible way. This smart girl already knows sit, shake, down, and come, is fully housebroken, and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She gets along very well with the other dogs in her foster home and has started showing her playful side as she settles in. She enjoys walks, quiet companionship, and has the cutest little happy grunts and talking sounds when she's excited. Elsa would do well as an only dog soaking up attention, but she's also perfectly happy living with other dogs. Cats are unknown. Because Elsa is a mature lady, she does have a manageable bladder condition that requires a daily medication (under $40/month). The medication works well, but she does need a home where someone is around during the day to let her outside regularly, as she can't hold her bladder for a full workday. She may also need one quick potty break overnight. With access outside and her medication, she does great.
