Luna 🌙✨ This beautiful 3-year-old Lab/Terrier mix found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own. She and two of her siblings were owner surrendered when their family had to move and couldn’t take their animals along. Imagine losing the only home you’ve ever known overnight. 💔 When Luna first arrived at Waverly Animal Shelter, she was completely shut down — frozen in fear, unsure of her new surroundings, and absolutely terrified of the noise and change. It was heartbreaking to see. But here’s the beautiful part… In just one week, Luna has started to bloom. 🌸 She now looks forward to her walks and cherishes every quiet moment spent with volunteers. She may still be shy when you first meet her, but underneath that timid exterior is a gentle, loving soul who is simply aching to belong to someone again. Once she trusts you, you can see the heart of gold she carries so clearly. Luna doesn’t need perfection — she just needs patience, kindness, and a soft place to land. A calm home where she can continue building confidence and finally feel safe again would mean everything to her. Please help us make this sweet girl’s dreams come true.
