Hi... I'm Boss. 👑 The name fits -- I was spoiled rotten in my last home and fully expect to maintain that lifestyle. I'm a proud tripod (that's right, I rock life on three legs), but don't worry -- I get around just fine, love to run outside, and still show off my skills. I know sit, paw, down, and jump, especially if cookies are involved (I love cookies). I'm protective of my humans and take my job seriously. When I meet someone new, I like a minute to observe and make sure everything feels right, but once you're in my circle, you've got a loyal best friend for life. I live for scratches, sunbathing like it's my full-time job, and being wonderfully lazy right next to my favorite people. I do have refined tastes. I'd thrive in a quiet, peaceful, adults-only home -- kids just aren't my thing. If something seems weird or out of place, I will absolutely bark to let you know (you're welcome for the security system). I am fearful around cats but it does not completely rule them out and am dog-selective. However, I can do well with the right canine friend after proper introductions. Grooming makes me a little nervous, though I manage with patience and reassurance. I'm not fully housebroken yet, but I'm smart, and with consistency, routine, and positive reinforcement (plus more cookies), I can get there. What I really want is a calm home where I can be spoiled, soak up the sun, protect my people, and be your devoted, three-legged shadow. 🐾 Requirements: Martingale Collar, Children 16+; Multiple Meetings (Shy)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
