Stormi is a 6-year-old white Pitbull with a heart full of love and a story that deserves a happy new chapter. This sweet girl was adopted once before but was recently returned after she didn’t get along with the other dog in the home. Sadly, during that conflict Stormi lost one of her eyes—but it hasn’t dimmed her spirit one bit. She continues to move through life with resilience, affection, and a big appetite for both food and love. Stormi absolutely adores food and can be a bit protective of it, so we recommend she be the only dog in the home and live with a family without small children. During her evaluation at the shelter she didn’t show food guarding behavior, but we prefer to be cautious and set her up for success in the right environment. On the bright side, Stormi is easy to walk on a leash and enjoys getting out for strolls. At around 100 pounds, she’s a big girl who could benefit from shedding a few pounds, and regular walks will help her get there. With the right home, she’ll thrive with a consistent routine, lots of love, and maybe a few healthy treats along the way. Stormi has been through a lot, but she hasn’t given up on people. She’s ready for a second chance—a calm, loving home where she can be the center of someone’s world.
