🐾 Meet Gino — Our Charming 6‐Year‐Old Gentleman Gino visited one of our rescue vets today and did great. He weighs 26 lbs, is now fully up to date on vaccinations, and was overall deemed a healthy boy. His heartworm test did come back light‐positive, so he has officially started treatment and is doing well. Gino is a funny, expressive little character who bonds deeply once he feels safe. He loves being close to his person—often right under your feet—and he absolutely adores his kennel with thick, cozy blankets. It’s his happy place. What We Know About Gino • 6 years old, neutered, healthy, and full of personality • Heartworm light‐positive and beginning treatment • Okay in a home with or without other dogs — he’s generally indifferent and keeps to himself • Not a fan of cats • Good with or without children • Playful, loyal, and thrives with structure and attention • Kennel lover who sees it as his safe space Gino would do well with someone active, patient, and ready to enjoy his quirky, affectionate nature.
