Meet Van Gogh, affectionately called Vanny. This five-year-old fawn Boston Terrier has a joyful personality that lights up any room. Weighing around 25 pounds, he’s found his footing in Seabrook, Texas, and is quickly becoming a favorite. Vanny does best with dogs his size due to his strong prey drive—no cats or small farm animals allowed. His playful spirit shines when he interacts with his foster brothers, and his excitement is often vocalized with adorable barks as he runs around. A true snugglebug, Vanny has chosen his foster dad as his favorite and craves inclusion in family activities. He’s been wonderful at the vet, sporting an all-clear health check with heartworm-negative results and up-to-date vaccinations. He does have some old scarring in his eyes from past encounters with cats, but this doesn’t deter him in the slightest. Currently, Vanny is wearing a belly band while he adjusts to his new surroundings. With time and patience, he’s expected to settle in and may require gentle guidance to curb any possessiveness over toys. Vanny flourishes with a loving and structured environment, so he needs someone ready for cuddles and who wants him to be part of daily routines.
