Mocha
AvailableMocha is a 5-year, 2-month-old female Boston Terrier in Van Vleck, TX. She’s house trained and currently considered a special needs pet, as her back legs do not function properly due to a spinal issue. Mocha has been spayed and her routines are consistent enough to be managed, even though she can only control her urine. Her gentle and loving disposition shines through every challenge.
About Mocha
Mocha arrived with severely deformed back legs, and X-rays showed her condition comes from a spinal disc problem—likely neurological in nature. She gets around by using her strong front legs, while one rear leg remains locked and impacts her mobility. After a careful talk with the vet, the decision was made to remove that "frozen" leg, making standing easier on her usable rear limb. She’ll also be outfitted with a wheelchair for additional support. Despite her challenges, Mocha brings endless sweetness and adores human company. She shares a close bond with Latte, a blind friend she arrived with, and together they've been inseparable so far. Right now, both are being evaluated to determine if they’d thrive best together or apart, as well as what kind of household would suit their medical needs and personalities. Mocha’s birthdate makes her a Pisces, often known for empathy and charm. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
