Meet Chazmin — but her people call her Chaz. Chaz is a 10-month-old Belgian Malinois & American Staffordshire Terrier mix (DNA tested) who spent months in a shelter kennel before landing in a foster home where she's finally getting to be a dog. At 54 lbs of energy, affection, and intelligence, she has been soaking up every second of it. She's crate trained, working on her commands (sit, settle, down, off, leave it — she's getting there), and shares her foster home beautifully with a 7 year old female lab. She may be cautious with new people at first, but give her a slow introduction and she will warm up quickly and stay right by your side. Chaz loves walks, backyard time, chewing toys, and belly rubs. She has not yet been introduced to children or cats, so a home without those would set her up best for now. She is smart, eager to please, and ready to grow. With consistency, patience, and a family who will give her structure and love, Chaz will become an absolutely devoted companion.
