Lulu is a 2-year-old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix who lives up to her reputation as a true firecracker—always affectionate, energetic, and ready for anything. At about 60 pounds with a medium coat, she brings the high drive and intelligence of her breed and a playful streak that makes her hard to ignore. Lulu loves people, whether they’re familiar faces or strangers, and is generally sweet and easygoing with most everyone. She hasn’t spent much time around children, but her tendency to get excited and jump means she'd need supervision with little ones who aren't steady on their feet yet. This dog gets along famously with other dogs and truly thrives with a young, active, canine companion to match her energy. She’s particular about her friends—male dogs or non-dominant females are her best fit. Cats are a no-go for Lulu; with her high prey drive and strong instincts, a cat-free home is a must. Lulu is completely house trained and doesn’t get into trouble when she’s with other dogs. She’s great on a leash, impressive with her recall, and quick to respond to basic commands—though her stubborn streak can come out when she wants her way. Mental stimulation and firm consistency are important for her. She loves fetch, tug-of-war, and car rides, and she’s superbly athletic—capable of scaling a 6-foot chain link fence if left alone. She needs a securely fenced yard, ideally with another playful dog for company.
