Meet Honey! Honey and her siblings were born to mama Sugar. Sugar is a wonderful and friendly Retriever mix who has done a great job raising her babies. The pups will be ready to leave their mom around 8 weeks of age so we are getting a head start on finding them great families. Sugar's pups are large breed puppies. Their DNA is a mix of Great Pyrenees, Husky and Malamute, plus a few others. They are stunning and will be large adults dogs. Dogs with this breed mix are not suitable for apartments and are not suitable for families with very young children or families who are not active. A home with a yard is a must. The pups will need thorough training and socialization in order to grow up to be good canine citizens. They are being well prepared in their foster home and are handled and socialized daily. Many behavior challenges in adult dogs can be prevented by proper training, handling and socialization as puppies and we are committed to helping these pups find forever families dedicated to helping them grow up well. You can submit an application for the pups via our website savinggreatanimals.org. The pups are on a vaccination schedule and will be microchipped and dewormed. They will be spayed/neutered at our cost between 8-12 months of age. This is not negotiable and built into our adoption contract. Their adoption fee is $595 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
