AvailableAbout Cornflake
Cornflake the cat is pleased to make your acquaintance! This friendly boy was found as a stray and was then surrendered to our vet clinic. Cornflake is neutered and microchipped, and has his bags packed and ready to go! Please read on for his story, and to find out how to add him to your family! Here is what we know about CORNFLAKE: - We don't really know much about Cornflake's background, so breed/age is just a best guess. He is @ 6 years old, and weighs @ 12lbs. - Cornflake is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and is feline leukemia negative. He did test positive for feline AIDS so a family who is familiar with this condition (and understands that it needs no treatment and isn't contagious to people) would be ideal. Cornflake has a great personality and would certainly enhance any household! - Cornflake was found as a stray and has been living in foster care since being surrendered to our vet clinic a few months ago. He is doing really well! - Due to his feline AIDS positive test, Cornflake should either be the only kitty, or share a home with other kitties who have tested positive for feline AIDS as well. - Cornflake has been exposed to dogs in his foster home has done fine with them. We think he would do fine with a nice dog who can respect kitty boundaries and wouldn't chase him. - Cornflake hasn't been exposed to young children and therefore would likely do best with kids 5+ who know how to respect kitty boundaries. What we love about Cornflake: His name is so unique! Is Cornflake the one for you? If so, he has his bags packed and is ready to make his way home to you! His adoption fee is $300! That covers all of his vetting and care up until the point of adoption. If interested, please reach out to Brittany @ Brittany.pacne@gmail.com and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link! *Paws & Claws New England, a/k/a Paws and Claws Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers and fosters who devote their time and love to help save homeless dogs and cats.
