Sammy is super affectionate but shy when he first makes a change. When he came to us he hid for 7 days before coming out from under the safety of the sofa but once he came out he was ready for love & action. He loves to play & be petted & loves looking outside & alerting us to squirrels, wildlife or "intruders!" Sammy is very smart & knows when what time people come in & is always there to greet them & give them a tour. He leads us through his space showing us what is out each & every window & telling a tale of what he has witnessed since our last visit. He is always ready for his next meal or some treats. He loves love & loves to be brushed. He is a very strong, fast & high energy & likes lots of play with the wand toys & laser mouse pointers. As you can see in the photos he loves all his toys & loves chasing the ball around the track to get your attention to play. Sammy is extremely cat reactive & lost his former home for this reason. He is in his own room at our paw palace & not allowed to roam near the other cats rooms because he is so reactive. If he sees other cats outside he gets very rattled. Windows must have pet safe screens! We don't know how he would do with dogs but judging from his reaction to cats we have not tested him. We feel he would do best in a home with no other pets. We do not recommend a home with small children for fear of him getting out as well as his reactive behavior. He is super sweet & everyone here loves him. He is such a clown & keeps us laughing & entertained. Whatever you do Sammy would like to help!
