About Mickey
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Mickey is a distinguished adult tabby who has already been on quite a journey. After being found in a shed and rescued, he enjoyed a brief home life before returning to Safe Haven when he had difficulty settling in. Mickey is a diabetic, but his condition is easily managed with daily medication mixed into his morning wet food. He prefers a peaceful environment and is happiest when lounging on his cat tree, admiring the view, or snuggling in his cubby. Mickey does not wish to share his space with other animals, and benefits most from an experienced cat owner who can give him their undivided attention. He thrives in a quiet, calm home without children, where he is the star of the show. Each day, Mickey receives a calming powder to help address his occasional fractious behavior. At the shelter, staff have observed that loud voices, quick movements, and the presence of other cats can be triggers for him. However, Mickey is an excellent communicator and will teach you to read his cues if you pay attention. His favorite pastime is exploring his tunnel or relaxing by your side, making simple moments together truly special. With plenty of patience and gentle affection, Mickey is sure to find comfort and form a wonderful bond in a loving forever home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
