About Blizzard

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Blizzard's journey has been one of resilience and hope. When he was timestamped for euthanasia due to his lengthy stay in the shelter, New Leash stepped in just in time and welcomed him with open arms. At first, Blizzard was anxious and reactive, but with the patient support of staff and volunteers, his trust slowly began to grow. Though he's clearly been through many challenges, Blizzard now reveals himself as a sensitive soul. His initial fearfulness has gently melted into a shy demeanor, and he eagerly opens up when offered tasty treats—hot dogs are an absolute favorite! He already knows how to "sit" and is learning so much more as part of our 10-week prison training program. Blizzard is ready to bring endless comfort, loyalty, and a sense of security to the right home. Ready to offer him a fresh start, love, and compassion? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
