Meet Iris from the Spring Class — our 35 pound, 2-year-old bundle of energy who believes life is meant to be lived at full speed! This spunky girl is a total busybody who would much rather be exploring, wiggling, and making new friends than sitting still for long. Iris absolutely loves people and will happily soak up all the pets and attention you’re willing to give. If you’ve got snacks? Even better. She’s very food motivated and ready to learn! Iris recently had her right eye removed after an old injury left it nonfunctional, but don’t worry — she’s not letting that slow her down for even a second. In fact, she’s living proof that you don’t need perfect vision to have a perfectly fun personality. Right now, Iris is putting all that enthusiasm to good use in our 10-week prison training program, where she’s learning manners and polishing her skills like the star student she is.
