Journey has survived more than most dogs, but nothing has dimmed her sweetness or trust. First found suffering from heat exhaustion and then, much later, rescued in truly dire shape on the side of the highway, Journey has every reason to be wary—yet she still seeks out people for comfort and play. Her resilience is clear. She thrives on affection and lights up when playing with her favorite humans. She’s currently in recovery and learning skills in the SCI Chester prison training program, where she is working on settling in and finding joy again.
