Kernel is a 12-week-old pitbull puppy with a tender heart and a gentle spirit. She’s a very shy little girl who feels safest tucked under her bed when the world seems big and new. But don’t let that fool you—behind that bashful beginning is a sweet puppy just waiting for a little patience, a few tasty treats, and some soft, reassuring words. Once she realizes she’s safe, Kernel warms up beautifully and is ready to be your very best friend. When she comes out of her shell, Kernel is a happy, playful bundle of joy. She absolutely loves treats and quickly learns that good things happen when she’s brave. She enjoys cuddling close to her favorite people and finds comfort in gentle affection. Playtime is another favorite pastime, especially when she’s tumbling around with her sister or making friends with other dogs. With proper, slow introductions, she would also do well in a home with cats. Kernel is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. She would thrive with a patient family who understands that shy puppies just need a little extra reassurance and a lot of love. Basic puppy training classes would be a wonderful way to help her grow more confident and blossom into a well-mannered adult.
