Meet Emma! Emma is a beautiful blonde, 3 year old, medium-sized girl weighing about 44 lbs with a short, stocky build and the sweetest personality. She truly is the perfect "just right" size. Emma came to us after being found matted and wandering the streets, clearly having never lived indoors before. After just a few weeks in foster care with proper vetting and love, she has blossomed into a completely different dog. She LOVES being outside and must have a fenced yard. While she's content indoors, she absolutely lights up in the fresh air - exploring, lounging in the grass, and playing with her dog friends. She never strays far from the back door and likes knowing her people are nearby. Her confidence grows every day. Emma adores other dogs and has a very innocent, puppy-like, submissive play style. Toys and bones are quickly becoming her favorite things. If we had to guess, she probably wouldn't care about cats. She is wonderful in her crate - she goes in willingly, sleeps there at night, stays clean, and does great when left alone. Emma is still working on housetraining (frequent pee accidents, but never poop) and is not yet leash trained, so she needs someone who can help her learn both things and then they will be behind her. With patience and routine, both will improve quickly.
