About Apollo
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Apollo, a charming 6-year-old Pitbull and Retriever mix with a laid-back spirit and a gentle heart. Apollo is the kind of happy-go-lucky dog who loves both playtime with his favorite toys and relaxed afternoons lounging on the couch. While he may need some tasty treats and a little time to feel completely at ease, he quickly becomes affectionate and loves to share kisses once he knows you. Apollo appreciates a nice long walk and looks forward to bonding with his new person. Though he can be nervous around unfamiliar dogs and requires slow introductions, he's shown that—with proper management and patience—he could adapt to life with another canine companion, but he would be happiest as the only dog so he can soak up all your love just for himself. A home without cats is best, as Apollo isn't suited to living with them. Given his initial sensitivity, Apollo prefers a calm environment with children ages 13 and older. He’s looking for a caring adopter who understands his need for a gentle approach and who will cherish his loving nature. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
