About Smeagle & Artemis

Smeagle and Artemis are sweet, affectionate 3-year-old sisters searching for their forever home together. Smeagle, the sleek black beauty, is the more independent of the pair — but don’t be fooled! She has her moments of demanding attention and will happily remind you when it’s time for pets. Artemis, the grey tabby, is endlessly curious, loves to follow her human from room to room, and happily snuggles up on your chest at night. Artemis is athletic and playful, pouncing on her Forever Stick with colorful worms and batting balls around her three-tier toy. Smeagle takes a more relaxed approach to playtime, often rolling onto her back while you dangle a toy above her, and she’s a big fan of a good game of hide-and-seek around the corner. Together, they balance each other perfectly and would make a loving, delightful addition to almost any home. Adopt this special sister duo, and you’ll be rewarded with twice the love and laughter every single day. Interested in adopting Smeagle and Artemis? Follow the instructions below! -------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
