About Squash & Gravy

Just in time for Thanksgiving, get ready to open your heart and home to Squash and Gravy — two scrumptious sisters who are irresistibly adorable! At one-and-a-half years old, this beautiful black cat duo has already completed an incredible transformation. When they first arrived, they were shy and unsure after limited human interaction. Thanks to the loving patience of their foster family, they’ve blossomed into sweet, affectionate companions who are now ready for their forever home. Gravy is a total people-cat who’s eager to be your devoted shadow! She adores her humans, often sleeping at the foot of the bed and gently licking their hands to ask for more affection. Squash took a little longer to come out of her shell, but she’s now a loving sweetheart who actively seeks out pets and cuddles. She’s a purr machine who offers the sweetest reward to anyone willing to give her time and understanding. Squash and Gravy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They’re looking for a quiet, calm home—without children or other pets—where they can continue to thrive. If you’re searching for two gentle, loving souls to fill your peaceful home with warmth and purrs, these sisters are ready to meet you! Interested in adopting Squash and Gravy? Follow the instructions below! -------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
