About Penny The Mini

Meet Penny, a pint-sized pitbull mix with a big personality and a dash of diva. Penny is about 1-2 years old and weighs in at just 28 lbs, but she doesn't let her small size hold her back—she’s got plenty of energy and loves to play, especially fetch, whether inside or out. She’s spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. Penny was rescued during a tough snowstorm and has been settling nicely in her foster home. She gets along well with the larger resident male dog, enjoys walks where she meets other dogs without trouble, and is passionate about her food (she's not aggressive, just eager). While she hasn’t been around cats yet, she has done fine being around a variety of dogs. Penny can be a little unsure with unfamiliar men at first but warms up with a bit of patience. She’s about 90% house and crate trained, loves couch time cuddles, and is always game for affection and kisses. She prefers to follow her favorite humans from room to room, always wanting to be close by. Penny is learning to enjoy walks (especially the walk home!) and tends to pull a bit on the leash, but she’s manageable. With some continued patience and extra training, Penny looks set to become a perfect companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
