May arrived at the shelter as a stray, clearly having faced some rough patches. She was scared, with urine staining and a sore on her tail, and was hesitant to put weight on one leg. Still, with some patient encouragement and soft words, her gentle side began to shine through. Though nervous at first, May quickly warmed up and now leans into affection, soaking up pets and giving kisses to everyone she meets. She has started to blossom, revealing her playful, puppy-like side. May is currently participating in a 12-week prison training program to learn her manners and prepare for home life.
