Meet Charles, a sweet soul with a gentle heart. He is a 13 pound, Chihuahua mix that is 6 years old. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and patience and you’ll see him start to shine. Once he feels comfortable, Charles comes out of his shell and happily leans in for cuddles, soaking up affection from his favorite people. He has a laid-back nature that makes him an easy companion, but he still enjoys a bit of playtime and fun when the mood strikes. Charles is the perfect balance of calm and playful, making him a wonderful addition to a loving, patient home. This pup will truly thrive in a home with a canine companion. We’d love to see him adopted with one of his siblings (Ziggy Bob Marley, Zelda, or Zander) or into a home that already has a confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes. Having a built-in best friend will help him feel safe, build confidence, and blossom into his happiest self. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
