At just 2 years old, Cookie is in the prime of her life. She has moved past the messy puppy stage and settled into a lovely, predictable rhythm. She is an easygoing, calm girl who has mastered the art of being a "couch potato." She doesn't need high-intensity workouts; she’s much more interested in "dunking" into a soft bed for a nap or "baking" in a sunny spot on the floor. Her temperament is truly "half-baked" in the best way—she’s mellow, patient, and perfectly content just being near her humans. Cookie is also a total "smart cookie" when it comes to her manners. She is house-trained and crate-trained, making her a dream to have in the home. She is great on a leash, walking with a gentle, steady pace that makes every stroll a delight. She has one adorable quirk that makes her even more special: she thinks she’s a kitten! Cookie loves to rub her body against your legs as a sign of affection and trust, almost as if she’s "kneading the dough" for a fresh batch of cookies. This "cat-like" lean is her favorite way to ask for attention and snuggles. When it comes to other furry friends, Cookie is a bit of a "specialty recipe." While she is a social butterfly with people, she does best with smaller dogs. She finds smaller playmates much less intimidating and would rather have a "crumb-sized" companion to lounge with if there are other dogs in the home.
