About Nora

Nora is a sweet, easygoing Siberian Husky who came to the rescue after being surrendered by her previous owner out of concern for potential seizures. After thorough evaluation, including bloodwork and a neurology assessment, she was started on epilepsy medication. Since arriving, Nora has not had any seizures, even after discontinuing her meds, so it looks like she’s a healthy girl who just needed a fresh start. She is house trained and crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, and has a gentle, loving nature. Nora does best in homes with a securely fenced yard—no kennels or underground fences—because her safety always comes first. Exceptions for apartment living are sometimes made, depending on the dog’s needs. Nora should be considered a member of the family and included in daily life, not just kept outside. Visits are by appointment in Poland, IN. Give Nora a chance to show you what an easy, joyful companion she can be. This could be the start of something paw-some.
