Ella is a 52 lb, 3-year-old Australian cattle dog and Siberian husky mix who adores people and is especially good with kids. Her herding instincts come through most when she's around other animals—she tries to boss them just a bit, but overall does well living with them. Ella entered rescue after her previous owner struggled to resolve her fear of going outdoors, which was made worse by a medication that heightened her anxiety. Over time, and with support, Ella has made strong progress and is now housebroken using a doggie door. A doggie door in her next home is very important, since she refuses to go through a regular door if someone is holding it. She thrives on attention, enjoys being brushed, and soaks up any affection you send her way. Ella is spayed and fully vaccinated. The rescue offers a trial period to make sure she's a good match for your home. Give this soft-hearted dog the new beginning she deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
