About Chops
Chops is a genuinely well-mannered dog who really respects house rules—he’s housetrained and has never chewed up anything except a few of his own toys. His energy feels young; he’s playful, curious, and loves to goof around with other dogs. If there’s a younger pup in the home, Chops is patient, even nurturing—a bit of a dog nanny. He’s happiest when he has room to run and play: a big yard or farm would suit him best. Digging and exploring are favorite activities, so keeping the gate closed is a must. Sweet-tempered and affectionate, Chops would happily curl up in bed with you or nap at your feet. He knows several commands, takes treats gently, and generally walks nicely on leash, only occasionally pulling if he gets excited. He handles car rides and new environments well, though he may show enthusiasm in public spots like restaurants or hotels. Chops gets along well with other dogs and, based on experience, hasn’t had issues with children, though small animals and cats remain unknown. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
