At almost four years old, Jackson is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. He currently resides in Reddick, FL, eager to find a permanent family.

About Jackson

Jackson is a sweet, playful hound mix with big, silly energy. He was born in late June 2022 and is full-grown at about 75 pounds. His exact breed mix is a mystery, though he shows plenty of Catahoula and hound traits. Jackson has been neutered, microchipped, and stays current on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. He passed crate training easily and is quick to learn from other dogs—he even figured out the doggie door on his first try. Jackson gets along well with other dogs and has an easygoing, friendly nature. After spending plenty of time in foster care, Jackson has received his 3-year rabies and distemper/lepto vaccines. He's athletic, lovable, and always up for a romp with his dog siblings. Jackson still needs some work on leash manners—he’s enthusiastic out of the gate, but is certainly willing to learn for his new family. His perfect home has a large, fenced yard where he can sniff, explore, and zoom to his heart’s content. Jackson hasn’t been introduced to young children or cats yet.
