Hi, I'm Gisele! I was on the lam for a while before being trapped and brought to the shelter. I was likely a farm dog and used to having land to traverse. Now that I am in the bustling city and a noisy kennel with strangers, I am understandably quite nervous and confused. I try to make myself small in hopes that it will all go away. I am looking for an adopter who can help me build my confidence and trust. I didn't even know how to walk on a leash when I arrived. I am an intelligent and brave pup who has been making progress day by day. I still have a ways to go, so any children in the home must be 13 and older due to my fearfulness. I may do well having a canine companion to help show me the ropes. I am not sure how I feel about cats but my breed does tend to have a high prey drive, so dog-savvy cats would be ideal at the very least. One thing that does make me happy is food, so you can reach my heart through my stomach! With patience and care my true personality will surely shine.
