Dog's Name: Paxton (PAX0226ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Labrador Retriever mix Approximate Age: 10 months Approximate Weight: 33 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Paxton – 33 Pounds of Pure Joy! If happiness had a face (and a wagging tail), it would be Paxton's. This handsome young Lab mix is fun, friendly and so ready to find his forever home! Paxton is the kind of dog who never met a stranger and he's just thrilled to be part of whatever you're doing. Super playful and always up for a good time, Paxton would love a home where he can stretch those legs, toss a toy around, and maybe show off a zoomie or two. He gets along great with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine buddy to romp around with — or he can soak up all the attention as your one-and-only sidekick. Paxton is ready to bring laughter, loyalty, and a whole lot of unconditional love into your life. All he needs now is a forever family to share it with. Could it be yours? Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
