Meet Pinky -a sweet girl who's been through a lot of changes and is ready to finally land somewhere she can exhale. Pinky would thrive with a calm, understanding person who lets her settle in at her own pace. As Pinky transitions to her new home, she may benefit from enrichment activities such as playing scent games as she uses her nose to explore the world and engaging with food puzzles at meal times. She may be initially shy, but she has a gentle, loving personality. Our volunteers have found Pinky to be a good walker who doesn't pull, responds to her name, sits politely, and takes treats gently. They say she is just a sweetie. She may require a longer-than-average integration to feel safe when left alone, and another dog in her next family will be ideal. At this time, Pinky will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age.
