No one ever came looking for him, but everything about this boy says he once belonged to someone’s heart. His coat glows a rich coppery red in the sunlight, he’s at a healthy, sturdy weight, and he gravitates toward people like he’s been waiting for them all along. Huckleberry has truly never met a stranger. He greets every human with a wide, joyful grin, and once he decides you’re his person, that’s it. Expect full-body wiggles, enthusiastic belly-up invitations, and soulful eye contact that feels a little unfair because it works every time. His warm chocolate-colored eyes are pure kindness, curiosity, and hope. He does wonderfully with children and is dog-friendly, making him an easy addition to a family or a multi-dog home. Huckleberry is also crate trained and potty trained, which means he already understands the basics of living politely in a home and is ready to settle into a routine with ease.
