About Willow
Meet Willow — A True Survivor with a Heart of Gold Willow’s story is one of resilience, love, and second chances at life. In October, this sweet girl was found hiding under a truck after being hit and left behind. She was taken in by the family that found her and after no chip was found, they committed to surgery to repair a broken Femur and fractured Tibia. With treatment and lots of TLC, she's made a full recovery and aside from her weaker leg, that is gaining strength daily, you’d never know the tough start to life she had. She’s now a healthy, happy, and loved pup looking for her next forever home. Willow is around 1 year old and absolutely full of life! She has the most adorable face that melts hearts instantly, and her loving, cuddly and playful nature makes her the perfect companion. She loves water, is great with other dogs, greets every person she meets, and would thrive in a home where she can share her joy and snuggles. We’re unsure how she is with cats, but with her gentle nature, a slow introduction should go well. Being young, she is still in need of a few of the basics in training; her recall is a work in progress and potty training is an 8.5 on a scale of 1-10, but only if left alone for longer periods of time. She does well on leash and is ever curious of the smells around her. She's a smart dog so her continued learning shouldn’t be an issue.
