About Riley
Riley is an older Dachshund with a gentle soul and a loyal heart. He lost the only person he ever knew and landed in a shelter, but he's now settling into a calmer foster home. Riley misses his family deeply and is taking things slowly, wanting nothing more than to connect again with someone special. He’s house trained, crate trained, and fits in well with other dogs, quietly sharing his space without fuss. Riley takes Keppra twice daily for seizures, and he’ll need to stay on this medication. What he’s looking for now is someone who’s ready for a devoted companion—a dog who will stick by your side and make you feel needed. If you’ve got room in your home and your heart, Riley just wants to love you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
